Always cheerful and kind, Kharkiv resident Maria has been very successful in sports. She has been dancing and figure skating since childhood. Masha wins prizes at Ukrainian competitions and dreams of competing for Ukraine at world championships. However, there is something that can significantly change the girl's life plans. It will soon be a year since doctors diagnosed Maria with type 1 diabetes.
With her experience in sports, Maria disciplinedly follows all the doctors' recommendations regarding her disease. But not everything depends on her. The girl needs modern devices to help her respond to blood sugar fluctuations in time – sensors. Thanks to them, Masha was able to return to sports and her normal life. But her mother cannot provide her daughter with everything she needs on her own.
When the full-scale war started, Masha became a little volunteer. Together with her mother, they help the military by sewing nets, making candles, clothes and goodies. Masha's older brother has been fighting as a volunteer since the beginning of the war. The girl is very worried about him and helps as much as she can. But today she is the one who needs help.
