Just plant a tree

Every year in Ukraine thousands of qualitative and healthy trees are just сut down for building of business-centers, houses and supermarkets. Only sandboxes for children in the yards are not covered with asphalt yet. International Charitable Fund "Ukraine, I am for you!" tries to do the best to solve the situation via restoring of green plantations in Kyiv and Ukraine.

If you live in the city, you are the bystanders of fast building. There, where parks and lawns were before, now we have buidings and parking zones. At those places, where the grass was green, excavators work. There, when you in the childhood were plaing with your friends, your children will see only gray concrete and asphalt.

Every day the number of cars increases. One car emits 5 tonnes of Carbon Oxyde into the atmosphere per year. In big cities cars is the main reason of air contamination. 

At the same time, when a tree is the best defender of the environment. Trees give Oxygen, significantly decrease the level of noise and improves general microclimate of the region: in summer, air temperature in parks has been always lower in 2 or 3 degrees.

To increase the number of avenues and parks Fund proposes to organize the planting of trees in your city. We should understand that qualitative seedings need some money. To plant 85 of units (trees and bushes) costs about 60 thousand UAH. If you will help to raise such sum, the Fund can buy seedings, provides catering during planting and further support of seedings. There would be the mark with the information about the sponsor of such event.

This project was canceled, the amount collected is 6 378 UAH. The funds were disposed of in accordance with the Rules, Principles, and Procedures of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB) International Charitable Fund and the decisions of the Project Donors.
