Instead of a normal happy childhood, this girl saw only hospital beds, examinations, rehabilitation and painful procedures. Since childhood, she does not walk, does not speak and does not even see. Mother took Maria to Kremenchuk from Kharkiv during the Russian invasion, where they still live today. Their already well-established life was destroyed by the war. The girl moves only in a special cart. There are no services in Kremenchuk that deal with the transportation of such patients. Maria's stroller cannot be lifted into municipal transport either. The mother is forced to take her daughter for an examination around the city on foot. A woman raises a child on her own, because the father left the family a long time ago. Her whole life is a search for money for anticonvulsant drugs and examinations for Maria.

Now the girl's epileptic condition has worsened due to the transferred covid. In August, some kind of allergy, unknown by doctors, was added. Doctors were forced to increase the dosage of two drugs and added a third. The budget of this small family cannot withstand such a load, because they exist only thanks to social assistance.
