Restoring Marta’s shining

A long-haired seventh-grader Marta is one of those people who shine from inside! But cancer erased the smile from her face and her eyes were filled with sadness. Everything happened in an instant: Marta had a swelling in the neck and it was the size of a hen’s egg. Unfortunately, the worst fears were confirmed and there was no time to wait. It’s time to act, to fight with malignant cells in the blood! Marta should start intensive chemotherapy and she needs a subcutaneous catheter to withstand a strong dose of medication but there was no such a device at the hospital!

A few weeks ago Marta was just a schoolgirl who liked parties and holidays. The girl loves people and nature… Marta’s father sees her as a helper in the orchard; her grandmother who was the head of the country club wants her to be an actress; her mother who knows her daughter’s interest in biology sees her as a good doctor. Today the whole family prays to God for Marta's health.

"We are shocked! Marta is our only child, our pride! Such hardships came to our home, our child has CANCER! Help us please! We need your strength and support as we are completely at a loss… I want my daughter to shine like before!" - cries the father's heart.

Treatment is only starting and the parents are scared because their income from land is not enough to pay medical bills and they don’t have any other sources of income.
