Denis's family has already sought help from UBB donors. Thanks to the sincere support of the well-doers, Denis was surveyed at the University Hospital of Dusseldorf. But the survey cost more than it was collected on the UBB. According to invoiced accounts, the family owed the clinic 1180,76 euros. As per the results of the survey, for the restoration of visual acuity, Denis was offered scleral contact lenses, costing 2,080.00 euros. For the family of Denis, both of these sums are very big and they won’t be able to collect them on their own! So, we have to appeal to you again, dear UBB donors!

Let remind you that Denis a very skillful and talented guy whose eyesight problems were compensated by a good ear for music. At first, he played third and then the second clarinet of a wind orchestra. At that time his parents printed maximum large musical notes so as the child could see them. But he remembered them fast and then played tunes from memory But now his eyesight has worsened so much that no increase already helps. He was diagnosed with vascularized corneal opacity

After the survey in Germany, doctors offered scleral contact lenses. In their opinion, in the case of Denis, the vision can be improved up to 50% and it would be a very good result for him. As Denis himself says: "I have never seen the world as it is. But I really believe that I will be able to see at least some of its part!
