Return to normal life

     In July 2024, Alina suffered from severe bronchitis, after which she felt weak, lost weight, developed digestive problems, and had a high fever. A few months later, doctors diagnosed her with nonspecific ulcerative colitis.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated August 31, 2020 and  additional agreement No. 21.305 dated March 24, 2025, the project “Return to Normal Life” was posted on the website  of the charitable organization “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” - dobro.ua - with the aim of attracting donations to pay for Alina Yevtushenko's treatment.
Subsequently, it became necessary to use part of the funds collected on the dobro.ua website to purchase medication for the woman. Therefore, according to letter No. 221 dated June 4, 2025, we received the collected amount of UAH 6,450.00 (six thousand four hundred and fifty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.
      The funds received in the amount of UAH 6,181.07 (six thousand one hundred eighty-one hryvnias, 07 kopecks) were spent in June of this year on the purchase of another course of treatment for Alina. 
      When the entire amount needed to pay for the woman's treatment was collected on two information platforms: the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the Pomagaem Charitable Foundation, we requested that the fundraising be closed and the amount of the project on the UBB be reduced to the amount actually collected – 12,581.00 UAH (twelve thousand five hundred and eighty-one hryvnia, 00 kopecks) – and that 6,131.00 UAH (six thousand one hundred and thirty-one hryvnia, 00 kopecks) be transferred to the Fund's account. hundred eighty-one hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and to transfer 6,131.00 UAH (six thousand one hundred thirty-one hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the fund's current account to pay for Alina's treatment and project administration, according to letter No. 517 dated 10/15/2025.
      Thanks to the funds received, in November we purchased and delivered medicines for the woman in the amount of UAH 5,770.88 (five thousand seven hundred and seventy hryvnias, 88 kopecks), and also paid for the administration of the project.
      Alina's condition is currently stable. She has no particular concerns, although she sometimes experiences high blood pressure. In recent months, she has been very nervous due to the difficult situation in the country. Frequent explosions in the city cause a lot of stress, and it is not easy to cope with.  Her child was recently enrolled in kindergarten, and now she is going through a period of adaptation, which is difficult for the whole family. 
      The doctor recommended a follow-up colonoscopy, but the hospital, where the procedure is usually performed under anesthesia, has had equipment malfunctions. Therefore, they have to wait for it to be repaired. After the colonoscopy, the surgeon will determine the next steps and the necessary treatment.
      Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the woman's needs.
