The "right" bomb shelter for Zaporizhzhia

Every night, Russian invaders bomb our city and its surroundings, destroy civilian buildings and kill civilians. These shameful actions make us angry and cause the desire to do even more on the way to our victory!

A few weeks ago, we planned to set up a bomb shelter in the 65th school of our city. Now this educational institution is both a school and the headquarters of a temporary shelter for internally displaced persons. During the air raid, teachers who conduct classes online are hiding in the shelter of the school. As well as immigrants who have just arrived in Zaporizhzhia from the occupied or front-line territory and stayed in the shelter for a couple of days. Some of them suffered so much during the war that they cannot even imagine how it is possible not to be in the basement under the sounds of explosions and sirens.

We have already taken the first step towards the "right" shelter. We bought 40 folding beds with mattresses, 20 chairs and 2 infrared heaters. The purchase of beds, blankets, linen and bio-toilets is still to come. In total, this bomb shelter can shelter up to 250 children and adults.

In this project, we want to collect funds for the purchase of 20 folding beds. We plan to buy directly from the manufacturer, which will save money and support the local business of Kharkiv.

The best medicine for despair and sadness is a little rage and action. This is what the team of our foundation has been living with for the eighth month of the war. Join us and we will bring the victory closer together!
