Give a Helping Hand to Little Iaroslav

The sum has been selected. When the couple adopted the baby there were no happier people in the world! But tt lasted till Yaroslav was diagnosed with brain cancer. Treatment in Ukraine and Russia did not produce results. Only in England the boy can get necessary medical assistance. But to use this opportunity the family needs 125 000 pounds. The boy’s mother asks everybody to help!

Yaroslav’s mother tells her story: “My husband and I couldn’t have kids but we hoped for a miracle for 8 years. And the fate gave us this boy who was born from the other woman but became the dearest child for us. When Iaroslav was 3 years old, a terrible disease was detected: cancer. From that very moment our family started struggling for our only child’s life. Our son underwent 3 operations, 23 cycles of chemotherapy, several cycles of radiotherapy. At some stage of treatment he could neither speak nor walk”.

Suddenly at the end of 2012 the boy’s father, Sergii, died because of sufferings. Now the mother is struggling for her son’s future alone. Iaroslav misses his father very much, he is looking forward to see him and is constantly asking: “Where is my daddy? When he comes?” This is another hard blow to the boy, another loss.

Now Yaroslav is at home with his mother, he takes supportive chemotherapy pills. His condition is grave, he feels pain in the legs, especially at night, and is very weak. He almost cannot walk. Brain cancer, medulloblastoma, is a terrible diagnosis in which time plays a decisive role. This disease can lead to patient’s death.

“I ask kind-hearted people to help save my son’s life. He is just a kid and really wants to live!” asks the boy’s mother and she adds: “My only hope is God and good people who can open their hearts to support and help others”.

The hospital in Britain will accept the child for treatment if 60 000 pounds are paid. And for the other 65 000 a guarantee letter is required. For now Iaroslav’s mother is trying to raise 590 000 UAH which are missing to have 60 000 pounds.
