Brain tumor threatens Dima. 3

Dima Kalashevych continues to fight for life. In February, he was operated on in the capital OKHMATDYT and the operation lasted 5 hours. Doctors tried to remove the maximum amount of tumor – 75% of the tumor was removed, the remaining 25% are at the intersection of large vessels and they are not possible to remove. Dima a week ago was in neurology – the boy had convulsions, consequences after surgery. Now convulsive seizures removed.According to the results of the first histology – pilocytic astrocytoma. This is a different diagnosis than Dima set earlier. Due to a change in the diagnosis, the treatment protocol has been changed.

On Wednesday, Dima entered the department and is preparing to intercede with the first unit under the new protocol. The unit is designed for five days.
In order to support Dima in treatment, we open fundraising for drugs for the second chemotherapy block: Temodal (100 mg) 1 pack, Temodal (20 mg) 3 packs, Etoposide (200 mg) 5 vials for a total amount of 10,849 UAH.
