One of the indicators of the course of COVID-19 disease is saturation – the level of oxygen in human blood. Older people, beneficiaries of the "Home Care" and "Palliative Care" projects, are isolated at home and do not have the opportunity to receive timely medical advice and monitor their condition in case of illness or the first symptoms. Each of them needs a pulse oximeter, which allows even at home in his bed to receive information about the condition of the lungs and respond quickly to changes.

Our fund has been working with the elderly since 1999. In addition to social services, they can receive rehabilitation and hygiene products. We constantly monitor the needs of our beneficiaries and try to respond to them. Today, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a great demand for tools to monitor the health of the home, or to provide assistance to those who cannot be treated in hospital.

Hospitals are overcrowded, most are treated at home, receiving a doctor's consultation over the phone. Having a device for measuring saturation – a pulse oximeter, our wards will be able to measure the level of oxygen and understand the course of the disease and the need for an additional source of oxygen. To purchase 11 pulse oximeters we need 6 000 UAH. Let's not leave alone those who feel useless every day, and today – fear for their own lives.
