After Nikita was born, it seemed that a normal, happy childhood awaited him. Smiles, first steps, first words. But life decided otherwise.

When Nikita was only 3 months old, he fell seriously ill. The infection was the first blow to his little body and the first fear for his family. His parents did not yet know that this was only the beginning of a long journey of trials. And at 7 months old, war broke out in Nikita's life. Explosions, shelling, fear for their lives. The family was forced to flee their native Kharkiv, leaving their home, peace, and past behind, seeking only one thing – safety for their child.

But the worst was yet to come. At the age of 2, Nikita was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. In an instant, the world changed forever for the family. Since then, every day has been a struggle. A struggle for movement, for development, for the future.

Today, Nikita is 4 years old. He desperately needs rehabilitation. It is rehabilitation that gives him a chance to walk, talk, and be independent.

"Thanks to the treatment, my child has started to balance better. He has learned new words. He can already climb up and down stairs. Nikita has become calmer, he can sit and study with a teacher, he is interested in learning about the world. He has become more sociable," says Nikita's mother.

These small victories are the result of tremendous effort and constant rehabilitation. But the family's resources are almost exhausted. Continuous treatment requires funds that the family no longer has. Stopping rehabilitation means risking losing everything that has already been achieved at such a high price. We cannot allow this to happen. Help Nikita not to stop.
