To save the lives of children

Prematurely born babies are real little fighters who face serious challenges from the very first minutes of life. Their lungs are often not yet ready to work properly, so the babies risk not getting enough oxygen, which is very dangerous. This is where the pulse oximeter comes in – a device that can be said to be the eyes of the doctor when it comes to blood oxygen levels and heart rate.

Imagine this: this small device can literally save lives by sounding an alarm if the oxygen level drops. Doctors can then immediately respond and adjust treatment, for example, by adjusting the oxygen supply or changing other therapy parameters. But it is important that the equipment is modern and as accurate as possible, because the slightest mistake can have serious consequences for the baby's health.

It is especially important to have such devices in Ukrainian hospitals, which are bearing a heavy burden due to the war. The number of preterm births in Ukraine has increased significantly. Stress, physical and emotional trauma of expectant mothers, lack of proper conditions – all of this contributes to the growing number of premature babies in need of special medical care.
