"In 11 days all my life has turned. Before that I was a healthy young men, with dreams, aspirations, desires. Now I became a man with the only one dream – to live. Live for the sake of my mother, family, friends, colleagues – for the sake of those people whom I can't leave, for the sake of patients, for whom my example of the struggle will be a new hope for recovery. Where this disease came from is not clear, its causes are still unknown. It chooses 1 of 700 000, and for what reasons I became this election, and the war started in my town, broke my padded health. But I so want to live!"

Mark is 21, and before his illness, he diligently studied at the academy of computer science, was one of the best students and showed great promise, even having time to work in his specialty. However, on 18 June, he was awakened by a severe pain in his leg, so strong that even painkillers didn't help. Doctors couldn't say for sure: the pain came out of nowhere and didn't abate. However, when he took a hot shower, his body got completely blue, and it became clear that the problem's not in his leg. After blood tests on June 27, doctors made an accurate diagnosis which was just terrible – chronic myelogenous leukemia.

This disease is very rare, its occurrence reasons are still unknown, but its treatment is the only one – 1 tablet an expensive drug "Glivek" per day, it's almost 400 UAH. He needs to take them for 5 years, since after this period about 80% of patients have a stable remission and a chance for the actual full recovery. So, there is a chance! During treatment Mark looks almost like a healthy person, and there's not something that hurts, so only he gets tired quickly, because his hemoglobin is lowered. If to stop take the drug, it will lead to an exacerbation of the disease, and people with this form of th disease live no more than 3-6 weeks.

Mark is now with his mother in Odessa with his relatives, and his mother, Iryna, is very grateful to all who support them. "It is good that there are good people to help us. When we were in our hometown, and my colleagues and friends has known about our grief, they took their entire salary and give it for my son. In order for us to have the opportunity to buy some pills... I have never thought in my life that there are good people who give the last for the sake of another, not always even a loved one, just lived. I can not hold back my tears, and I just really want my son to be alive, that he was cured! At first I couldn't believe that it all with us, it's not a dream, and all flashed so quickly, this disease, this war, and I asked, "what is it?" But now I understand that God gives only what that we can survive, so we will try to go all out, we believe together we all succeed. I'm desperate, but I believe that there are people who can help, and I ask this all concerned. "

Without the support of good people Mark just can not cope, his mother did not gather up their own such facilities. The boy needs to collect 181 923 UAH – this is the cost of his treatment for a year. In such a short period of time Mark's mother lost her job and accommodation of communication fighting, and her son – health. Each tablet of"Glivec" – this is the 1st day of confidence that Mark will live, he will live to see tomorrow, he will be able to recover. Let us not leave him in the lurch, because they have nowhere to wait for more help!
