Medical science aimed at cancer treatment doesn’t stay still. New medicines and therapies appear. The targeted therapy with the use of the drug Athenitor belongs to such innovations. This therapy is aimed at molecular changes in the cancer cell. And it is a lifeline for Yaroslav. Now Yaroslav is undergoing treatment for the fifth month, his condition is improving. There is a great hope for recovery!

The boy has been fighting for his life against osteosarcoma for almost two years. He survived several surgeries on the legs and on the lung but unfortunately, the disease didn’t give up. This therapy can save Yaroslav but the cost of drugs is very high: the price of one package is more than thirty thousand UAH! It only lasts one month and it is required for a year… Not so long ago together with you, we raised the necessary amount to buy two packages of medicines for Yaroslav. The therapy works which means that the chances for recovery increase. Let’s help Yaroslav get a chance for the future!

Yaroslav fell ill in 2016. After a little injury his daddy brought him to different hospitals but at first, there was nothing suspicious and only in the regional hospital a neoplasm was detected. According to the examinations at the National Cancer Institute, a diagnosis was made. He had chemotherapies, joint surgery, endoprosthesis insertion, lung surgery, a lot of injections and tests. And now he needs Athenitor. His daddy appeals to all charities, asks for help to buy medicines. They cannot cope on their own because during the years of treatment they spent all the savings and there are three more children in the family in addition to Yaroslav. Let’s give Yaroslav a chance to live!
