For babies to breathe

The Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (IPAG of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine)* is the main institute for providing medical care to seriously ill children and women in labor.
It is the leading research institution in the country in the field of maternal and child health, which annually helps 25 thousand women and children. IPAG accepts the most difficult cases and has the highest rates of successful care for premature babies. Few people do not know about the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology. Many residents of the capital were either born here or "gave birth" to their children. The institute's specialists take on the most difficult pregnancy cases, and for more than 90 years of its existence, IPAG has saved thousands of children's lives and the lives of their mothers. However, few people know the difficult conditions in which doctors have to work. Now, as always, the Institute needs the help of caring people.

The Institute consists of 16 departments that perform not only medical work, but are the main scientific base of Ukraine in the field of maternal and child health. Among these departments, the main one is the Neonatology Department, which includes the Newborn and Premature Infant Intensive Care Unit and the Postnatal Care, Nursing and Rehabilitation Unit.

Respiratory therapy is a key part of medical care for newborns with perinatal pathology in the NICU. To save the lives of preterm infants, it is imperative to administer caffeine citrate, which ensures full breathing of the child from birth, which helps to save lives, reduce morbidity, childhood disability and mortality. Unfortunately, the hospital is in dire need of the caffeine citrate drug today.

Therefore, we are appealing to all caring people to help raise this charity project, which will allow us to purchase 20 packages of Peyote (caffeine citrate) to treat respiratory disorders in newborn babies who are rescued in the IPAH neonatal intensive care unit.
