Mark is a real fidget who successfully combines a love of sports with creative hobbies. Cheerful and energetic, he loves to ride a bike and play football with friends, the boy is also fond of origami and 3D modeling, he likes to create large figures. He enthusiastically attends a labor training group, as he sincerely loves working with wood. Mark and his brother temper their character and endurance during joint biathlon training.
At the age of seven, the boy's world changed forever, for two years the boy has been living with type I diabetes, measuring sugar daily, counting each portion of food and relying on vital insulin injections for each meal. He knows well: this constant control is a reliable shield from dangerous fluctuations in high and low sugar levels.
In this daily struggle, Mark has never been alone. Behind every counted portion and every sleepless night is the boundless love of his mother, who holds his hand. Together, they have turned medical rituals into habitual steps to victory.
Continuous glucose monitoring sensors give the boy pain-free freedom, turning constant finger pricks into a discreet scan. Using the sensors makes it much easier to monitor sugar levels and alerts him to dangerous sugars at night. The boy’s family is asking for help to make his life easier.
