This incredible 9-year-old boy with red hair, who always runs to everyone's aid, is named Maksym. The boy grew up as a happy child, went to school, and helped his mother take care of his sisters. But at one point, his life and the life of his family turned upside down. Maksym was hospitalized, and doctors diagnosed him with type 1 diabetes. A disease that will be with the boy for the rest of his life. Since then, his mother and Maksym have been learning to cope with all the difficulties of living with this disease.

Diabetes is not about stability. Maksym needs constant care, mandatory procedures and strict adherence to a regimen. There are two other young children in this family. For three years now, Maksym has been the main man in the family, because his father is now defending our country from the aggressor in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Maksym loves to spend his free time with his sisters. Family is the most important thing for him! Today, his parents cannot provide Maksym with everything he needs to make his extremely difficult life with the disease easier. The boy needs monitoring sensors to give him a break from constant injections and sleepless nights for a few weeks.
