Nikol's difficult childhood

Nikol was born a full-term healthy girl. She began to raise her head on time, but did not want to turn over. At 6 months old, her parents realized that something was wrong with the child, so they went to a neurologist and then went through all the specialists. The doctors made disappointing diagnoses: developmental delay, hydrocephalus syndrome, hip dysplasia. Nikol was able to sit up only at the age of one, and said her first word "mom" at the age of one. But three weeks later, the girl stopped talking altogether, and she still does not speak. Nikol stood on her feet with support at almost 4 years old, but does not walk.

At the age of 4, Nikol received a disability, subgroup A. The girl's mother did not want to believe that everything was so bad until the last moment. The family moved from the village to the city to be closer to hospitals. Subsequently, epilepsy was added to all the baby's diagnoses. Since then, Nikol has hardly slept. She has already experienced clinical death.

Now the girl is 6 years old. Nikol is a very emotional and cheerful child, she loves people, especially the elderly. She can even stretch out her hands to an unfamiliar grandmother while walking on the street. The girl is always next to her mother when she cooks, she likes it very much.

A month ago, Nikol's condition deteriorated, and she had to go to another part of Ukraine for an examination and adjustment of anticonvulsants. Doctors prescribed expensive medications. The family also needs to raise funds for a very expensive genetic test. It is very difficult for them both financially and morally. Nikol's mother is begging for help: help the girl with her medicines.
