Sweets for the elderly. 4

There is nothing worse than loneliness. Limited communication, lack of support, the time when a person is left alone with his problems, illnesses, experiences, negatively affect the general well-being of old people, their mood and interest in life. To solve the problem of loneliness of the elderly, the Second Youth Club has been operating in Kharkov for more than 20 years.

Thanks to regular attendance of club events, our wards have the opportunity to meet, communicate, engage in needlework, and creativity. Everyone supports the others, helps to discuss issues of concern, to solve problems. The project staff is preparing thematic meetings, festive events. The most touching event in the club is the birthday party, which is held once a month. Our old people say that these are their best birthdays ever.

This is the fourth time we have raised funds for sweets for events at the club, because, unfortunately, this project is not funded by any donor, so we have to look for funds for rent and sweets on our own. Today we need to buy delicious sweets, cookies, waffles and tea for the meetings of our old people. We believe that there are people who want to help us! The amount to collect is only UAH 5,216.00. Exchange your cup of coffee for goodies for lonely old people, do not stay away from the problems of those who have lost everyone and are left alone in the whole world.
