Sofiia spent the first 9 days of her life not in her mother's warm embrace, but in intensive care, including 1 day on a ventilator. Overall, the girl developed normally until something terrible happened at 4 months – Sofiia began having seizures that started causing developmental delays.

When the girl turned one year old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia. Treatment began immediately, but spasticity greatly slowed down the developmental process. However, thanks to Sofiia's persistence and constant treatment, there is progress. The girl is now 3 years old, she still has developmental delays and motor impairments, and is on anti-seizure therapy.

"Sofiia can already stand on all fours, she moves her hands and almost crawls! She has better control of her hands and understanding of everything happening around her. She has become softer, knows all the animals," says Tetiana, Sofiia's mother, asking for help with the next rehabilitation course.

Let's help this bright girl!
