Create a special place in the hospital!

The reconstruction and furnishing of the reception area for serious patients is a project aimed at creating a functional and pleasant atmosphere in the reception department of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center. Every month, the reception department accepts about 600 patients for inpatient treatment, about 500 receive outpatient consultations.

Each of us undoubtedly has the experience of going to medical institutions. Such moments are difficult and stressful for both patients and their relatives. But imagine how much more complicated this process becomes when it comes to children who experience fear and discomfort in unfamiliar surroundings. That is why we feel obliged to change this situation.

Our goal is to create a special place where every child and their loved ones can feel cozy and comfortable. We strive to provide them with maximum support and hope for a speedy recovery. The admissions department should be a place where children can forget their fear and pain, and where parents can have extra confidence that their babies are receiving the best possible care.

With the help of the collected funds, we will be able to create a friendly and joyful environment where our young patients can feel comfortable and relaxed.

The reconstruction is planned to be carried out: 
- reconstruction of the entrance for provision of unhindered access for seats on wheelchairs, gurneys accompanied by life support equipment, 
- reconstruction of the room for receiving seats: anthropometry, sanitary processing and processing of medical documentation, 
- reconstruction of the manipulation room for emergency and planned medical measures, 
- reconstruction of bathrooms, in particular for settlement with limited opportunities, 
- arrangement of the waiting area.
