Tymofii wants to go home so badly

Tymofii was born on April 1, 2013. According to the examination the child was healthy. Then no one could even imagine that a little boy would stay at home only a week and the rest of the time he would be confined at different hospitals. Now Tymofii’s diagnosis is the following: hydrocephalus, meningoencephalitis, ventriculitis, symptomatic epilepsy, anemia, sepsis. The doctors claim that the disease can be overcome by means of complex antibiotic treatment but the family has no money to purchase one more expensive range of medicines.

There Tymofii was diagnosed with an acute cerebrovascular disorder of hemologic type with the formation of hemorrhage in the left hemisphere. The boy had to be operated. Then he was sent to the Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv but, unfortunately, Tymofii was not transportable. He suffered from hemorrhage again. During two months Tymofii was operated on three times at the local hospital in Rivne. His condition aggravated by convulsions, meningitis and progressive hydrocephalus.

Only on 19.06.2013 the boy could be transported to the pediatric department of the Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv. The mother went to the capital with her son leaving Tymofii’s three-year old brother at home.

Despite such terrible and extensive diagnosis the boy clings to life with all his strength. According to the doctors the disease can be overcome by means of a comprehensive antibiotic treatment. However, the full range of necessary medicines is not available at the department of the capital. Within three months of treatment the family has exhausted all the resources and cannot afford to purchase medicines at their own expense.

Help to save a little boy! After birth he spent only seven days in his native place. He wants to return home so badly.
