In Ukraine there are more than 2500 of children with cancer diagnosis. Treatment of such disease is one of the most expensive. Government provides only 40% of the necessary medicine. The other part is provided by parents themselves, often they get money by selling everything what they have. The project helps people to get necessary treatment.

Yearly 1500 of children in Ukraine get this terrible diagnosis – cancer. And a child comes into a hospital for minimum 9 month. And in the best situation it equals to 70 thousand UAH for treatment, checking of donors and other medical supplies. During the treatment an immune system of a child could be totally broken; his life is under the threat. As a result, parents face with another necessity – they should buy antifungal treatment, and this is extra 300 000 UAH. And if bone narrow transplantation is a must, the price increases till 350 000 EUR!

The project “Point of life” of the Charitable Fund “Krona” helps to save lives of little Ukrainians, to save the families, faced with this problem, from vagrancy. The Fund created a modern laboratory for typing of marrow donors. This center that is located in City Hospital for Children “OKHMATDET” has the highest results on recurrence-free children.

Charitable Fund “Krona” raises money to provide such support to little patients in future, to make them healthier as soon as possible. The most acute needs of the project are purchasing medicine for chemotherapy, for antiviral and antifungal therapy, and most importantly - new infusomats.

Employers of the Fund faith that very soon thanks to donations of the people, many children can forget about gauze bandages on their faces and about everyday tears on the faces of their mothers.
