The conditions for relatives to visit the sick

Imagine you have to come to the hospital to visit a close person. Surely, you would want to sit nearby, whether to talk or just quietly hold their hand. Perhaps sit and watch over the drip. Or feed them if they are completely helpless... When you enter the ward, you always scan the space, looking for a place for yourself.

Visitor chairs are one of the first items on the department's list of needs, as mentioned by the nurses and doctors themselves. Because they simply don't exist. The few that are there are already very old and barely holding together.

For the New Year, the foundation has already bought several chairs – at least one for each ward. Actually, the photo is a quick sketch from the "before and after" series. But 5 pieces – it's too little, almost nothing. After all, the department is designed for 30 places. Places are needed where you can sit, both in the ward and in the corridor. For patients who can go out of the room for a short walk or sit to rest on the way to the bathroom, and for visitors waiting to talk to the doctor.

Both we and the hospital* staff are convinced that it is important to create comfort for people who come to the hospital to visit their loved ones, to care for everyone as much as possible.
