Parents are giving up... help! 2

Roma needs our support to make the disease recede. He has been seriously ill since birth: he has cystic fibrosis and optic nerve atrophy and blindness in his left eye. Despite frequent exacerbations, coughing and poor eyesight, the teenager does his best to study at home, play sports, and help his mother. But after a recent exacerbation, his health has deteriorated, and the family is asking for help.

For all 15 years of his life, cystic fibrosis has been destroying his lungs, disrupting his liver and preventing him from gaining weight. Genetic damage is to blame for the fact that all the body's secretions are thicker than they should be: thick mucus constantly collects in the lungs, which is very difficult to cough up. Roma needs to do inhalations, take medications and perform physiotherapy exercises every day. 

With a low weight, it is difficult for a weakened body to fight infections, and due to the disease's disrupted digestion and absorption of food, weight is not gained. To break the vicious circle, people with cystic fibrosis need high-calorie special food. 

We are asking for your help in collecting medicines for inhalation and liver and special food. The state provides part of the necessary medicines, but parents have to buy the rest themselves. Also, we are adding to the project a charging station for Roma's inhaler (the boy lives in Chernihiv region, where power outages still occur) and food certificates for this family, which is financially depleted.

Help them not to give up. Let Roma become stronger.
