Veronika's difficult way. 3

Veronika is already 4 years old and has been ill all this time. The girl was initially diagnosed with a congenital anomaly of the central nervous system and spine, hydrocephalus and Chiari malformation of the 2nd degree. Later, she underwent several important surgeries that saved her life. Now Veronika's medical record contains the following diagnoses: "multiple central nervous system defects, spina bifida, severe internal hydrocephalus, lower paraparesis, pelvic organ dysfunction, partial optic nerve atrophy, symptomatic epilepsy, dislocation of the left hip, dysplasia of the right hip joint, deformity of both feet".

The doctors advise the girl to undergo systematic rehabilitation, which improves her condition and brings new skills. Thus, during the last course of treatment, Veronika's understanding of spoken language improved, as well as her grasping, chewing and swallowing reflexes, breathing and fine motor skills. The girl has learned to hold the pyramid rings in her palms and tactilely perceive the world around her.

Veronika's path to recovery is thorny and difficult. However, we can make it less difficult by helping the girl financially, because there she will be able to get into a new course of such a life-saving rehabilitation. Please help her!
