Little Sofiyka defeated cancer but its consequences continue making the baby’s life miserable. The tumor was in such a place that it pressed out important muscles and nerves. The girl stopped walking. Now Sofiyka can only watch her peers from the wheelchair and ask to ride a scooter. To change the situation, a long and expensive rehabilitation is needed.

Sofiyka was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when the girl was just taking her first steps. The first and so far the last ones. During treatment, her parents tried to pay attention to rehabilitation exercises as well, but the main thing then was to survive. Last summer, Sofiyka successfully completed the oncology protocol, but she still cannot walk.

Professional rehabilitation is needed to restore the functions of the legs and spine. The "VERNYHORA" center specializes in such programs. However, the cost of a month of classes is 174 780 hryvnias. For a family in which dad works as an engineer and mom is on maternity leave, this amount is unrealistic.

Let’s help Sofiyka take the first step for the second time!
