Quarantine challenge: the most necessary for children!

"Our dad, breadwinner, goes on vacation at his own expense on Wednesday (works in a construction supermarket). This is terrible: to sit and not know what expects: will work or not. In our family, a child with a disability, I look after him and his lying father...".
"Son Renath is 7 years old, he has a serious genetic disease, plus cataracts. I am an anesthetist. There was a time when my grandmother sat with my son, and I worked in 3 places. 

Recently, there was only one part-time job in a private clinic, but with the advent of quarantine I lost it too. In connection with the epidemic, they can be called to work at any time, but so far I’m sitting at home without a salary. And Renatik still needs diapers, food, medicine".

"My little Vika has a severe disability, an orphan disease. The child needs special nutrition, the constant intake of anticonvulsants, of which only one is given. The three of us live, my mother, the child and me. Mom has a disability: after the 3rd operation on hip prosthetics, she hardly walks. I worked part time before quarantine – I cleaned the apartments, now even these copecks are not... I take care of my girls at home".

Such messages have come to us for several days. Quarantine made many families face poverty. The delivery of medicines and hygiene products was delayed, half of the medicine had not been given before, but parents found the opportunity to purchase them on their own. Now it’s easy to buy them: working adults went on unpaid leave.
We wrote to 12 of our wards families with a request to purchase the most necessary for at least a month or two, in the amount of 1 to 4.5 thousand UAH. These are anticonvulsants, means for the gastrointestinal tract, antipyretics, special nutrition and diapers.

Total purchase amount – 29 200 UAH. We ask you to help families in which children with disabilities are brought up and who are now losing their sources of income due to layoffs and unpaid leave. Your smallest contribution is already a few diapers or vital tablets for our wards. Let us come together to support those who are difficult now!
