Oleksandr was born too early, too weak, and too tiny for this world. Premature birth, ischemia, umbilical cord entanglement, hypoxia, and severe brain trauma were his first trials. He spent the first days of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit, fighting for every breath, for every chance at life.
He survived, but the price of this struggle is very high. Oleksandr has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, optic nerve atrophy, and developmental delay. All of this has become a reality that the little boy must face every day.
Fortunately, rehabilitation and sessions with qualified specialists are improving Sasha’s condition. Each rehabilitation course brings hope; after the sessions, the boy grows stronger, experiencing new emotions and new movements – small but crucial victories. He is now learning to sit and crawl, which is a huge step forward. But without constant work and rehabilitation, this progress could be lost, and because the family’s financial situation is already strained, they cannot afford to pay for Sasha’s treatment on their own.
For Alexander, this isn’t just therapy – it’s a chance to move, see, experience the world, and live a full life.
Please don’t stand by – even a small contribution today can change his tomorrow. Give Sasha a chance at a future!
