Paralympic game “Boccia” is one of the few opportunities for paralyzed people to approve themselves, to see a world and to feel their usefulness. Today, this chance is appeared for Viktoria Scherbyna who had injured spine in a car accident. To take part in the Europe Championship in Paralympic Games the girl should buy a special tool – ramp for throwing the ball.

After the accident Viktoria isa disabled person of group I, she is non-ambulatory and completely immobile person. Vika has only one active finger on her right hand and using this finger she tries to cling to her life – communicates with people in social networks and tries to find a job. Viktoria aspires to develop herself constantly. Last summer she enrolled in part-time psychology faculty of the University «Ukraine». All her world is her room. One light ray has recently appeared in her life – a game boccia!

This kind of sport has recently started to develop in Ukraine. There was the Second Championship in Ukraine. Since 1984 a game Boccia has included to the program of the Paralympic Games. On June 15-23 Europe’s Boccas Championship will be held in Portugal. Our team intends to present in all class by one sportsman. A sportsman participating in the most difficult class can use a help of assistant and additional ramp for throwing the ball.

Vika has a dream to take part in the Europe’s Championship and become a professional Paralympic sportsman. According to Viktoria – boccia is a happy ticket from the God. The life makes a sense, a girl has started to feel herself as a useful one and with impatience and sport gusto she participates in all competitions.

To provide Vika with opportunity to present our country in Championship in Rio-de-Janeiro, a quality sport tool is required to be purchased for her. We need to raise funds to buy special ramp for throwing the ball. Please, help Viktoria to perform with dignity in Europe’s Championship and further to win in Paralympic Games 2016!
