Vladyk from Kharkiv has been living with insulin-dependent diabetes for a year and a half. All this time, the family has been living on a special regimen. His mother does not work now, because she has to constantly monitor the child until he learns to count carbohydrates in food, give injections, control glucose levels and make accurate calculations of food through the scales.
In the fall, thanks to benefactors, we managed to make life easier for little Vladyk: we bought and sent him continuous monitoring sensors. With the sensors, his mother can see his glucose status day and night on her phone. With the sensors, the boy's blood sugar spikes have decreased significantly, because now his mother is able to prevent them in time. Vladyk continues to practice sports acrobatics. Sometimes training is difficult for him, but he copes well.
However, the sensors provided have already expired, as they have a certain validity period. There is no one to provide the boy with new sensors. Vladyslav's mother is unable to work because she has to constantly monitor her son's condition and his nutrition. She also has a disability due to cancer. The boy's father went missing in the war, and this has become a great stress for him. The child needs help again.
