Save the doctor

      In April 2024, Victoria experienced sharp abdominal pain. At first, she thought it was an exacerbation of gallstone disease. But the pain did not subside. An ultrasound scan revealed a tumour-like formation, and further examination showed ovarian cancer.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 313 dated 8 May 2025, the project ‘Save the Doctor’ was posted on the website of the charitable organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ - dobro.ua - with the aim of raising donations for the treatment of Viktoria Chumak.
      In June 2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange who closed Viktoria's fundraiser, we received 85,385.00 UAH (eighty-five thousand three hundred and eighty-five hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the fund's current account for the purchase of medicines and administration of the project.
In the same month, we purchased and delivered the necessary medicines for the woman's treatment for a total amount of 81,319.00 UAH (eighty-one thousand three hundred and nineteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and also paid for the administration of the project. 
      Victoria's condition is currently stable, and she continues to undergo chemotherapy. She is sincerely grateful to all the caring people for their support, which has been extremely important and timely for her treatment. 
      In August, the MSEC commission confirmed and extended Victoria's disability group for another year. The woman is trying not to lose heart, but sometimes her emotional state fluctuates.
      Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the woman's needs.
