Save the sunny boy

For Maksym, a CSF shunt is like air because he cannot live without it. All the diagnoses with which the boy was born to remind of an extract from the medical encyclopedia: brain edema, convulsion syndrome, microcephaly, hydrocephalus, pneumonia, hypotrophy… After installation of the shunt system Maksym can live without pain but now it has to be replaced. The boy grew up and the old shunt could no longer function properly. It is impossible for parents who spent more time at the hospital than at home to find the necessary amount.

It was a difficult delivery for Maksym’s mother. As a result of birth trauma her son had a lot of health problems. Maksym was ill so often that he almost lived at the hospital. During every visit to the doctor, new diseases were detected. And weeks of treatment began… Mom and dad love their only son very much and they do their best to make his life easier and happier. But, unfortunately, the family cannot afford to buy all the necessary materials for a surgery. Together we can help this help this sunny boy to live!
