Diana will save Maria!

Friends! You and I collected funds to buy a programmable shunt for Diana, who has been fighting a terrible disease since birth - structural generalized epilepsy. A shunt was purchased, but, unfortunately, the operation was suddenly canceled due to medical reasons. Therefore, the Care Operator asked us to transfer it to another patient who currently needs the same treatment. Now the already purchased shunt will be able to save the life of little Palouza Maria.

Mariyatka is only 6 months old, and the child has not been home for a single day.

Due to hemorrhages in the ventricles of the brain, she does not develop properly and suffers from hydrocephalus. All these months, doctors literally brought her back to life. Almost immediately after birth, an operation was performed, but the pressure does not subside, which causes severe pain to the child.

The programmable shunt will allow accurate control of the pressure in the brain and provide an individual approach to further treatment of Mariika, in particular, reduce the need for additional surgical interventions. This method will not only relieve the symptoms and improve the quality of life of the little patient, but also give a chance for a healthier and happier future.
