Diana will save Maria!

The purpose of the project was to collect money for the treatment of Kornievska Diana. The girl has severe birth defects that cause epileptic seizures and increased intracranial pressure. Neurosurgeons planned an operation to install a programmable shunt system to reduce pressure. The child was carefully examined and observed. Unfortunately, the planned operation had to be postponed indefinitely, and possibly canceled completely.

 Since the operation was canceled and the shunt system was already purchased, Diana's mother volunteered to give the consumable to another child in need of treatment.In the department of neurosurgery, the child Palyga Mariyka, born in 2024, was being treated. Due to hemorrhages in the ventricles of the brain, she does not develop properly and suffers from hydrocephalus. The programmable shunt will allow accurate control of pressure in the brain and provide an individual approach to further treatment of Maryika, in particular, reduce the need for additional surgical interventions. This method will not only relieve the symptoms and improve the quality of life of the little patient, but also give a chance for a healthier and happier future. This decision was agreed by the Letter on the change of beneficiary Ex. 1/2207 dated 22.07.2024. Also, the name and text of the project was changed from "Save little Lady Dee from pain" to "Diana will save Maryka!"

By additional agreement 46.551-1 dated 07/22/2024, a decision was made to transfer the purchased shunt to Paliza Maria, who needed an urgent operation. Mariytsi performed the operation on time. The family is sincerely grateful for the help received.
