In both eyes. The fact that the girl has a problem with her eyes was first noticed by her grandmother. The baby was 9 months old then. A gray spot began to appear on the baby's eye. The mother with daughter went to the hospital and the baby was examined. As it turned out, she has a congenital cataract in both eyes. The disease appears as a gray spot on the eye and because of this, the light does not enter the cornea. Therefore, Emiliia’s eye does not develop... 

In the near future, the little girl needs to undergo surgical treatment to replace the lenses in both eyes. Otherwise, the baby may simply lose her sight, which has not yet managed to develop enough... Emilia is the mother’s first and only child. Her joy and joy. "My baby is very mobile", Emiliia's mother writes. "She is always on the move, she loves to dance, and, like all the kids, she is fooling around!". 

The mother of the girl is on maternity leave. Unfortunately, neither the father of the child nor his relatives, take part in the life of Emiliia. And Emiliia and her mother live with their grandfather and grandmother in the village. This small family is nowhere to wait for help . The mother is forced to ask for help from all concerned people. To carry out an operation on only one eye, a lens and related medical materials worth 12,656 UAH are needed. The operations are done alternately and now Emiliia needs the first.
