Everything will be alright!

Our little daughter was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. But, the doctors said if we continue therapy at the clinic of rehabilitation treatment, the little girl, at the age of 2.5 years old will be able to sit without any help and at 4 years old she will be able to walk by herself. This is our cherished dream! Please, help her dream to come true. Unfortunately, our own funds for Katya’s rehabilitation courses aren’t enough.

On 10 August 2011, our lovely daughter, Katya, was born. During the preventive examination, when Katya was three-months, the pediatrician sent our child to neurologist as the developmental delay was found. After examination by neurologist, it was recommended to contact with the Ukrainian Medical Rehabilitation Center for Children with Organic Disorders of Nervous System of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. We made all necessary examinations at the Center. The continued medical treatment prescribed by neurologist didn’t give the desired result – the condition of child remained the stable: no declines, but, unfortunately, no improvement.

When Katya was one year, the family addressed for the help to the National Children’s Clinic «OKHMATDYT». The results of examinations on genetic level were within normal limits. But the physical development concerned neurologists. Katya couldn’t hold her head, was not able to turn and sit independently and high muscle tone of extremities maintained. The Cerebral palsy was established.

In October 2012, Katya had the first course of intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets. After reflex-therapy, complex of massages, correcting spinal, gymnastics, the daughter’s health was improved and there was a positive dynamics in her development. Neurologists of the Clinic recommend having a rehabilitation course every three months!

However, the treatment at this Clinic needs significant financial resources – one course of rehabilitation costs 6 530 UAH, excluding travel and accommodation expenses.
