Food for the poorest. 2

Each of us, in a hurry to a warm home in a creeping frost, knows the snowy streets that warm and delicious food awaits him in a cozy home. It's so commonplace and even commonplace, for all of us, things that we perceive as due, understandable in itself, such that is for everyone... But look carefully around – right next to us there are people who either have no warm home or there is no food in their home, and sometimes, if not regrettable – both one and the other...

It's so commonplace and even commonplace, for all of us, things that we perceive as due, understandable in itself, such that is for everyone... But look carefully around – right next to us there are people who either have no warm home or there is no food in their home, and sometimes, if not regrettable – both one and the other... 

Very often, from reasons independent of them, because of problems and troubles that they could not cope with, because of disability - physical or mental inferiority - or simply because it is old and alone, and pensions are not even enough to survive, these people are forced to nor seek salvation on the streets of the city without livelihood and waiting for help from compassionate and indifferent people. It is easier to turn away, to pretend that such people do not exist, or even to condemn them, or you can just try to help because it is a form of mercy and we get as a result of what we give...

It is these disadvantaged ones who take care of Charitable dining room of our fund, where every day they come to receive a hot lunch and words of support and encouragement of dozens of people in need. Since the onset of winter colds, their number has increased, because these people know that the Charity dining room is the only place for them, where they will definitely receive food and warmth that will help them to survive, where they are waiting every day, where they will receive and help. For quite a long time, ourselves and the donations of indifferent people provided food for our wards, but today, given the ever-increasing prices for basic foodstuffs and the increase in the number of people in need, we are looking for additional resources for the dining room to work every day and we were able to procure everything necessary for cooking for the poorest.

Therefore, we appeal to all who are not indifferent to those who have no place to wait for help and support in order to survive, except those who are sick today, lonely and helpless: we have the opportunity to do mercy for these unfortunate and help them to survive these very busy times.
