Food for the elderly

Thanks to the completed collection for the project "Food for the Elderly", we prepared and dispensed 980 additional portions of nutritious food, consisting of the first dish (soups, borscht, pickles, kulesh, etc.), the second dish and side dish (buckwheat cutlets, pasta with sausages, pilaf, wheat porridge with meatballs, etc.) and bread, cookies and tea with sugar.

With the collected UAH 20,783.00, we were able to purchase the necessary products for cooking dinners (vegetables, meat, cereals, pasta, tea, canned stews, sausages, etc.) and plastic containers (glasses for the first course, glasses for the second course and garnish, lids on glasses). We distributed ready meals in accordance with our distribution schedule, 2 times a week, 1 set of prepared meals per 1 ward (for 1 distribution we give out 200-250 sets of food) during January 2022. Our events are held in compliance with quarantine conditions, each set is individually packed, the packaging is disinfected, volunteers work in gloves, masks and have vaccination certificates.
