The language is lost. Help find!

Mykhailyk was born with a congenital malformation of the right hand and a heart defect. At the age of two, he underwent a complex operation, then there was a year of rehabilitation, and, finally, his fingers began to work. The heart disease is also currently under control. It would seem that all troubles were behind them, but time passed, and Mykhailo did not speak at all.

At the age of three, another diagnosis appeared – "delayed psycho-linguistic development". Mykhailo started working with a speech therapist and after a few months, he was already saying his first words. However, everything changed in October 2022. During the massive shelling of the industrial enterprise near which Mykhailo lived, he was very frightened and became completely silent. After this incident, the boy's family moved from Zaporizhzhia to Kyiv.

The specialists have been trying to get Mykhailyk to speak for two years already. He attends a speech therapy specialized kindergarten and works with a psychologist, a speech therapist, and an occupational therapist. The boy visits the pool as the doctor advises and recently started doing taekwondo. All these measures gave the long-awaited result: three months ago Mykhailyk started talking, and now he is already connecting words into the first sentences!

Mykhailyk's family asked us to help pay for the boy's next course of intensive rehabilitation. It would be a big loss to stop at what has been achieved, it is necessary to continue to develop his speech. Please help us support the boy!
