      Alona's pregnancy went well, but due to the baby's oxygen deprivation, doctors performed a caesarean section. At first, Andriyko developed normally, but then he began to gradually lose his skills. Many years of attempts to understand the cause of the disease were unsuccessful. It was only in 2019 that Andriy was diagnosed with Haller-Spatz disease at the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery, in which iron is deposited in brain cells and damages them.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 297 dated 30 January 2025, the project ‘Iron Captivity.3’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Andriy Bevza.
      Subsequently, we sent a request to transfer part of the collected funds in the amount of UAH 133,400.00 (one hundred and thirty-three thousand four hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to pay for special food for Andriy, which was done in accordance with letter No. 103 dated 04.03.2025, and continued the collection on dobro.ua. 
      On 04.04.2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, who closed Andriy's collection, we received another 62,215.00 UAH (sixty-two thousand two hundred and fifteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's current account to pay for the child's treatment and project administration. 

      Thanks to the funds received, in March of this year we purchased and delivered Resource Junior special food for the boy in the amount of UAH 27,918.00 (twenty-seven thousand nine hundred and eighteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks), in April – in the amount of UAH 46,762.20 (forty-six thousand seven hundred and sixty-two hryvnias, 20 kopecks), in June – in the amount of UAH 46,762.20 (forty-six thousand seven hundred and sixty-two hryvnias, 20 kopecks), and in early July – in the amount of UAH 27,486.00 (twenty-seven thousand four hundred and eighty-six hryvnias, 00 kopecks).

      At the end of June, Andriyka’s mother called us and told us the sad news: after the night shelling, their apartment was partially destroyed, and all the special food that we helped to purchase for two months was damaged. We immediately ordered the necessary medicines, hygiene products and special food Resource Junior for the boy.

      Now Andriyko is staying with his grandmother in the village, where he breathes fresh air. The boy feels stable, has gained a little weight, and his cheeks have become rosy. However, Andriyko continues to suffer from frequent headaches, as he is dependent on weather changes.

      We plan to use the remaining unused funds in the amount of 46,686.60 UAH (forty-six thousand six hundred eighty-six hryvnias, 60 kopecks) for Andriy's needs in 2025.
