The birth of Little Tymur was the most awaited moment for his parents. Sadly, their son was diagnosed with a congenital skull bone malformation known as trigonocephaly. This condition results in the child’s forehead having a triangular shape. The doctors promptly informed that surgical intervention was necessary in the upcoming months, while the skull bones were still undergoing active changes. The surgical procedure involves the placement of specialized plates, which will help restore the normal shape of the head, enabling the child to develop and grow healthily.
If the surgery is not performed in time, Tymur’s brain will not develop evenly, potentially resulting in developmental delays, impaired vision, and persistent seizures. Eventually, these changes may become irreversible. To perform the necessary operation, specialized plates must be acquired, and the cost of nearly 166 thousand hryvnias is a considerable burden for a young family. And time is running out...
Tymur is a lively kid who loves to play and explore the world around him. Together we can show him that our world is filled with kindness and family warmth. We will not leave him alone with the disease that can rob him of life’s joys.
