Make Oleksii’s summer dream come true

At the age of 8, Oleksii spent more time in hospitals than at home. From birth, he fights for the opportunity to live a full life, develop according to his age and make his childhood dreams come true. To achieve the desire he needs another urgent surgery with a large list of necessary medical supplies. Unfortunately, they are not available at the hospital and his family has no money left to buy them.

Since birth, the boy has been ill with a diagnosis of meningoradiculocystocele of the lumbar spine of large size; he was also diagnosed with congenital compensated hydrocephalus and lower paraparesis. The treatment of these diseases takes away most of the financial resources in the family: in addition to surgery, the boy needs regular rehabilitation to regain strength.

With the second child, the family life changed radically. The mother is always with the son, sharing his pain from surgeries and painful procedures. Her aspirations are simple – to see her son among peers in everyday life, go home from the hospital ward, and dedicate time to her older daughter.

Now Oleksii’s biggest dream is to undergo rehabilitation and spend summer vacations with his peers. But the first thing is surgery, for which it is necessary to raise funds as soon as possible.
