Woman-doctor needs help with cancer treatment. 4

Doctor-neurologist Olga Merkulova continues her struggle for life with cancer. For three years now, a woman has been living with a diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. Endless chemotherapy and examinations have completely depleted her family's financial condition. The dynamics in the treatment is positive, which means that the doctors appointed by the doctors help and the progress is visible.

Olga is infinitely grateful to the donors who helped her to collect the funds necessary to continue the treatment. Considerable sums are spent on this. More than UAH 10,000 per month are needed for the purchase of the two drugs Iksdzheva and Femara, which are necessary in the treatment. For a disabled person of the 2nd group, Olga Yurievna, who is unable to work for health reasons, is not able to do this. For more than six months now, she has been taking these medicines at the expense of charitable assistance.

Until recently, Olga herself treated patients with various neurological diseases, taught and passed on her knowledge to the next generation of doctors. Today she needs help herself.

During the summer period, the woman's general condition improved, the range of motion in her arms and legs and the distance she can walk increased. In September, Olga fell ill with an acute viral infection, which, of course, worsened her general condition. But she believes that gradually the strength will return to her.

As a doctor, Olga sees that the drugs are helping, and she expects a long-term remission while taking the drugs.
