Prokhor is a young creative guy who adores nature, especially the sea. He also loved to dance – he even received a diploma for Azerbaijani dances. But that was all before the boy was diagnosed with diabetes. For seven years, Prokhor has been living on insulin injections. He had to inject up to seven doses of insulin a day, and measure his sugar with a glucometer – up to ten. Because of the need to take blood every two hours to check his sugar, the family hardly slept. Constant skin punctures drove the child to hysterics.
Seeing their son’s suffering, the parents could not even imagine how they could accept and live with this. So, they decided to install an insulin pump to make Prokhor’s life easier. And it helped – for the first time in a long time, the boy started smiling again. But this victory came with colossal losses – the money for maintaining the pump for the family is simply sky-high. The mother has to rely on support from charitable foundations, but every day, every spent search material causes her and her son indescribable anxiety. “What if this time we can’t find him? What if they don’t help this time?”
Give the family a chance to continue nurturing Prokhor’s health and faith in their hearts!
