Life despite diagnoses

      The boy was born on time, but in the first months of life, the parents noticed alarming symptoms in their son: he was restless, often cried. At two months, an MRI showed a congenital brain malformation, partial agenesis (absence) of the corpus callosum, epileptic encephalopathy. At 5 months, the child was registered as disabled.
      In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the ICF "Ukrainian Charity Exchange" and the Charity Aid Operator of the BF "POMAGAYEM" dated 08/31/2020 and "Life Despite Diagnoses" in order to attract donations to pay for the treatment of Chaus Arseny.
      The initial amount to be collected was UAH 24,150.00 (twenty-four thousand one hundred fifty hryvnias, 00 kopecks). When the entire amount necessary to pay for the rehabilitation course at the BO “BU “CENTER FOR REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN THE NAME OF SAINT RIGHTEOUS JOHN” for Arseny was collected on two information platforms: BO ICF “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” and CF “Pomagayem”, we requested to close the collection, reduce the project amount at UBB to the actually collected amount – 14,118.00 UAH (fourteen thousand one hundred eighteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and transfer the funds to our current account for partial payment of rehabilitation and administration of the project, according to letter No. 90 dated 02/25/2026. In February, the boy successfully completed the long-awaited rehabilitation course at the BO “BU “CENTER FOR REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN THE NAME OF SAINT RIGHTEOUS JOHN” THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN THE NAME OF SAINT JOHN THE RIGHTEOUS".
      Arseny always attends classes at the rehabilitation center with pleasure, which brings noticeable results. His mother is particularly enthusiastic about physiotherapy and massages, which significantly improve the boy's condition. In addition, during rehabilitation, Arseny had the opportunity to participate in master classes for free. He really liked these events, because the most important thing for him is the opportunity to study in the circle of friends and experienced specialists.
      Arseny's mother notes that their family always comes to the "John's Center" for rehabilitation with pleasure. They are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to undergo another important recovery course.
      Currently, all the funds that were transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the boy's needs.
