Zlata needs constant treatment
12 years ago, the Zabiranik family welcomed their second child, a girl named Zlata. The baby was born absolutely healthy. Until the age of 3, the girl was not sick at all, but her stay in kindergarten had a bad effect on her health. Zlata had endless bronchitis and pneumonia. Later, she had her first resuscitation, a blood transfusion due to nosebleeds against the background of high fever. Then the child was diagnosed with pollinosis and bronchial asthma. Zlata and her mother lived with this until she was 10 years old, constantly taking antihistamines and hormone drops from summer to the first frost.
But suddenly, at the age of 10, Zlata began to gradually lose weight. In the winter before the new year, Zlata fell ill again, and the doctor diagnosed her with ARVI. Zlata had a high fever of up to 40, was very weak and did not eat, only drank a lot and often ran to the bathroom. At the next appointment, the doctor suspected cystitis. The next day, the child did not get out of bed. Zlata was breathing heavily, her eyes were dry and glassy. The girl's mother called an ambulance, but the doctors again saw nothing wrong. In the evening, her mother broke down, and Zlata was taken to the hospital. She could not walk on her own – her father carried Zlata in his arms.
Fortunately, the doctor turned out to be a real specialist and suspected diabetes at first sight. Tests confirmed the disappointing opinion. Zlata celebrated the New Year in the hospital under intravenous drips.
Since the age of 11, Zlata has been classified as disabled. Now she has more than 10 sugar measurements day and night. The child is growing up, and the doses of insulin are constantly changing. Now Zlata is 12 years old and weighs 36 kg. Over the past year, the girl has gained 3 kilograms, and her life has begun to improve. The girl needs to strictly follow her treatment and diet, she has to undergo frequent tests, take vitamin D on a regular basis and occasionally other medications. Like all girls her age, Zlata loves soft toys, drawing and modeling. She started attending classes at an art school and graduated from the 6th grade with good grades. She has a pet cat named Zephyr. Her family has three children, and the youngest of them also needs treatment. They do not have enough money for all the necessary treatment, so Zlata's mother is asking for help with her daughter's treatment.
