Kyrylo Pekarskyi was born in February 2023 without a heartbeat – oxygen was not reaching his brain. Fortunately, the resuscitation team managed to restart his little heart, after which the baby spent four days on a ventilator and another three weeks in intensive care. Kyrylo could not eat on his own, he had severe swelling on his head and face, and doctors also found bleeding in his adrenal gland.

A month later, Kyrylo and his mother were discharged home, but then the boy developed seizures, which were treated immediately. The boy could not hold his head up, roll over, sit up, or pick up toys, so he was recommended to undergo systematic treatment.

Thanks to your help, the baby has already undergone a course of rehabilitation, after which he began to hold his head up better, talk more, move his arms and legs, and even try to crawl. However, it is too early to stop. Rehabilitation must continue, so we are starting a fundraiser and asking everyone who cares to join in and become part of the change in this little boy's life!
