Give a present to sick kids

These kids are seriously ill. Every minute of their lives, they struggle with diagnoses, which often occupy more than one line in medical reports. They spend most of their lives in hospital wards or rehabilitation centers and fight for their right to a healthy childhood. These children courageously endure painful procedures and conscientiously follow all the recommendations in order to take the first step after a while, say the first word or hug mom and dad for the first time. All of them are of different ages, they have different diseases, but there is something that unites them – they, like other children, believe in the New Year's miracle and that Santa Claus will definitely bring them a gift this year.

The parents of these children are the most courageous people in the world. They give them all their strength, love and warmth, just to put them on their feet. They quit their jobs and care for a sick child because they have no other choice. They queue up for essential medicines and spend hours looking for new treatments. At night, they pray for the health of their own child, and on the way home after the next course of treatment they cannot fall asleep because of the frantic joy of the first independent step or the word of their child. Yes, they are the most courageous people in the world. But sometimes they simply do not have the opportunity to give their sick child a gift...

Every year, on the eve of New Year's holidays, our organization holds an action, during which we give gifts to sick children – our wards. Some of them want a stuffed toy, some want a typewriter, a designer or a doll.
