6-year-old Alina's Marathon. Stage 2

Alina's turned seven years old and its time to go to school. But because of her illness she will be studying at home, - only in her dreams she can play around at the break between lessons with her friends and answer to teacher's questions at the school board. For seven long and difficult years we have been fighting the diagnosis which doctors announced at her age of 2 - cerebral palsy. During the last years Alina has gone through so much: constant rehabilitation courses in Vinnitsa, Kiev, Odessa. She has had three difficult surgeries by Ulzibat method.

Thanks to all the indifferent people we have gone through 5 courses of rehabilitation in the clinic of Dr. Koziavkin. And again we turn to you for help so that we could continue chasing my daughter's dream - to make her first own step!

We have chosen the clinic of rehabilitative treatment because there we have the best results. In these two years our daughter has learned to sit down, crawl on her knees by herself. After the fifth course Alina can stand at the pillar and move by small steps, holding my hands. We thank God and all the kind-hearted people who helped us achieve these results and we believe that with your help we can achieve also our first steps!

My daughter was born on the 29th week with the weight of 1450 grams. She stayed in the intensive care for seven days and then during two months she was catching up with her peers in gaining body weight. When she was two years old we heard the scary diagnosis - cerebral palsy and the chasing game was over for my daughter. Now it is the seventh year of our fight for the ability of our daughter to walk with her own feet and we cannot stop - we have to move on with the rehabilitation courses, which show a good dynamics in the development of our child.

Alinka is a very good girl: she calls me to engage in physical exercises, read and write, because she really wants to know how to become independent in the future. To do this we have to work hard, and we believe that everything will be fine - because we know that there are people-angels who help us. And now, just like other kids of her age we are preparing for school, even though for some time we will be studying at home...
